Unit 2:  Biological Foundations.  Specialty Topics in Chapters 4, 5, 6, 7.  Choose one of these topics to research further, briefly (2-4 mins) present the findings to the class, and write up your summary and comments.  Written papers (typed, about 2 pages) due on the test date that covers the unit of the topic.  Start with your textbook for ideas, but be sure to amplify on the material presented in your textbook or in class.  More than one person may sign up for each topic, but you need to make sure you research different sources.  You may also develop your own specialty topic for the unit- you just need to sign up for it!

Be sure to use either a) two internet sources or b) a scientific journal article and give the full citations, plus turn in a copy of the source(s) with your written paper.
